The residency is designed to support:
– new or substantially developed vocal and choral performances;
– lecture-performances and vocal laboratories;
– artistic research presentations;
– recordings, writing, scores, and experimental documentation;
– expanded methods of rehearsal, interpretation, coordination, and listening;
– clearer articulation of embodied, relational, and tacit knowledge;
– critical engagement with vocal and choral genealogies;
– more accountable relations to source materials and inherited practices;
– public presentations at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week;
– international artistic, pedagogical, and research relationships.
Development is not measured only by completion. It may consist in a clarified methodology, revised assumption, transformed rehearsal structure, expanded vocal vocabulary, sustainable working process, or new distribution of artistic agency.
