[axiomata media] II.
—
WHY PARTICIPATE?
[axiomata media] offers an extended framework for artists seeking to examine how vocal and choral practices are produced, transmitted, organized, and transformed.
The residency provides sustained international exchange, rigorous conceptual inquiry, time for experimentation, attention to embodied and tacit knowledge, support for documentation, and presentation at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week.
It is intended for participants who seek not only to present existing work, but to understand more precisely how their practices became possible, how they operate under present conditions, and what futures they may produce.
